The largest and most experience manufacturer and supplier of grind media to mining operations worldwide has a manufacturing facility located 165km north of Sydney, Australia (Newcastle) that required re-location of a Danieli extrusion press plant including its associated equipment (electrical switchboards, cooling tower, etc.) to India. The closed tender consisted of three companies to bid and Hunter Cargo & Customers was the successful tenderer due to price, experience and our previous track record.
The scope of work under FOB Incoterms included co-ordinating in with the dismantling of the plant, loading road transport with cranes to a storage facility, cleaning and preparing the cargo to meet international quarantine standards, road transport to Botany Wharf and Port Kembla.
The consignment consisted of 4 Large break bulk cargo pieces, 21 x Special equipment units consisting of flat racks & open top container, 15 off general purpose containers.
The project was delivered on-time and on budget.
